How to Resend Email for Past Google Form Submissions

Using Email Notification for Google Form , you can send personalized notification emails for previous form submissions . Simply follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Open the add-on menu in your Google Form.

  2. Click on "Replay Past Responses." This action will launch the Response Manager window.

  3. The Response Manager window displays past form submission entries, with the most recent submissions at the top.

  4. In the Response Manager window, you can view a summary of responses, which is a concatenation of short answer questions (limited to five short answers, each with a maximum length of 50 characters). This summary helps you identify the responses you want to replay.

  5. Click on the "Replay" button next to the entry you wish to process. Form Email Notifications will evaluate this response with all your active processors and send the appropriate notifications.

note

Ensure that you have at least one active processor for this to work.

What is Summary in the Response Manager Window?

The summary field in the Response Manager window is a string concatenation of responses to short answer questions. It contains up to five short answer responses, with each response limited to a maximum of 50 characters. The summary is useful for quick recognition of responses when deciding which ones to replay.

Tips

You now have the ability to execute a paused processor by selecting it during the replay process. This feature is useful for executing a processor after manually verifying the responses. If you do not select any processor while replaying, all active processors will be executed by default. However, if you specifically choose a processor before replaying, only the selected ones will be executed, regardless of their status.
